We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, imaginative and collaborative Secondary Visual Arts teacher to join our Arts team full time at our Duncraig campus from 15 July 2024 (Term 3) until the end of Term 3, 2025 to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the Arts team and deliver and work alongside the Visual Arts staff to provide an exciting Visual Arts education to all students. We’re looking for someone who has a proven track-record teaching Visual Arts, meeting all requirements of the Western Australian Curriculum to students from Years 7-12 including ATAR and General courses.  The successful candidate will also possess high levels of skill and technical competence across a range of art practices, demonstrating a desire for professional growth reflecting upon their teaching practice.

Critical to this role is also proven experience planning, coordinating and realising a full-scale exhibition showcasing student artwork for a school and wider community. Our Synthesis exhibition is a highlight of the Arts calendar at our Duncraig campus and this role is instrumental to its success.

Experience marking the ATAR Visual Art WACE practical (production) and/or written exams will be highly regarded.
