A range of Scholarships are awarded annually:
Academic Scholarships
Our Academic Scholarships recognise students entering Year 7 who demonstrate exceptional academic ability. This scholarship supports your studies from Years 7 to 12 and empowers you to reach new heights in your educational journey.
Community Excellence Scholarships
Open to students entering Years 7, 8, 9, or 10, these scholarships celebrate those who seek out extraordinary pathways to personal excellence. Recipients embody the spirit of community involvement and serve as role models for their peers, showing that academic success and social responsibility go hand in hand.
Students applying for a Community Excellence Scholarship should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, participation and exceptional commitment in a diverse range of activities which may include; community involvement, leadership, extra-curricular involvement, persistence in academic pursuits and service.
The application process includes the student submitting a handwritten letter to the Principal outlining their achievements and reasons for applying along with a character reference letter from a teacher, coach or community member. Applicants will then undergo an interview with a selection panel.
Music Scholarship
To nurture future musicians, two Music Scholarships are offered to students in Year 5 to 10. The scholarships offered are the (1) Instrumental Music Scholarship and (2) Instrument of Need Scholarship to recognise outstanding musicians who have attained a high level of performance on their chosen instrument. In 2027 the instruments available are the trombone, tuba, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, cello and double bass at Duncraig and trumpet, trombone, viola and cello at Carramar, this scholarship encourages you to explore your musical passions and contribute to our vibrant music community. Please note this scholarship covers a student’s music tuition fees, it is not a full fee scholarship.
Regional Scholarship
Designed for regional students, these scholarships aim to enhance access to quality education and provide opportunities that recognise academic excellence, community involvement and good conduct. With no closing date for applications, we invite regional students to apply year-round.
