Head of Learning Area – The Arts (Carramar)
Due to a promotion of our current Head of Learning Area, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available at our Carramar Campus for a full time (1.0FTE) Head of Learning Area – The Arts, to commence Term 1, 2023.
The Head of Learning Area – The Arts will be a strategic thinker who will give expression to the School’s mission and vision by leading and developing the Arts Learning Area, inspire our students with a love of the Arts and model the importance of this Learning Area to the School community and beyond.
The Performing and Visual Arts provide students with the opportunity to interrogate the world, develop opinions and a personal voice influenced by the example of the best playwrights, musicians and artists. The Head of Learning area is expected to ensure that The Arts Learning Area is dynamic, attractive to students and valued by students, their family and the school community
The successful candidate will need to guide, support and motivate teachers of this Learning Area and promote a positive staff culture, good practice and continuing professional development.
