Fees notice
School fees are about to get a little simpler for families with four or more children enrolled at School.
The School’s Executive Team recently approved that from 2023, tuition (including building and resource levies) for the fourth (youngest) sibling concurrently enrolled (excluding Pre-Kindergarten) will be free!
The School will also continue to maintain the existing 12% discount for the first three children.
Fees will still apply to uniforms, book lists and extra-curricular activities such as peripatetic music and tours undertaken by the fourth child, but with the increasing cost of living, the School hopes this will provide some relief for our bigger families to continue their St Stephen’s School journey.
The School has also partnered with Edstart to offer our families additional ways to pay their school fees.
Edstart offers two products: Edstart Pay (interest free) where families can opt to smooth larger education payments over the school year, including costs for items like IT devices for example, or Edstart Extend to reduce annual payments by spreading them over a longer period.
Edstart will pay your fees to the School when they’re due every term and you can make weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments. You can adjust your plan or cancel at any time with no additional charges.
Any additional fees or interest is outlined throughout the application process. More information can be found at the Edstart website.
Fees paid with credit cards will also attract a 0.9% surcharge from 2023 due to banking charges passed on to the School. If this will impact your family, the School has a number of alternative payment methods which do not incur similar surcharges. You are welcome to change your payment type via the Parent Portal.
