Blast Off to Little Feet Festival
It was all systems go at the City of Joondalup’s Little Feet Festival where we took families on an out-of-this-world adventure through the Solar System.
Equipped with their very own passport to space, little explorers blasted off through giant inflatable planets, with the enormous Sun stretching three meters wide! As they journeyed from Mercury to Neptune, children collected stamps and discovered fascinating facts along the way.
They learned that Venus is as hot as a pizza oven, Mercury’s year lasts just 88 Earth days and that Jupiter is so big, every other planet could fit inside it.
The activation captured the spirit of play-based learning that thrives in our Early Years classrooms, encouraging curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
