Glittery gowns, good food, laughs with friends and loads of entertainment made for a great night at the St Stephen’s School Foundation Gala.
More than 300 guests lined the Astral Ballroom foyer, making the most of the media wall and soft music before the doors to the ballroom swung open, revealing a dramatic setting filled with native flowers, a 360 photo booth, pint-sized jazz duo and a shiny sports car thanks to event sponsor Pentanet.
MC Lachy Reid hyped up the crowd before Perth’s premier party band Proof had all on their feet, with the dance floor packed right until the very end. The audience learned more about the School’s Foundation, which was launched on the night, and the School’s first fundraising project for The Kaadadjan Centre. Click here to view the launch video.
Aspirational plans were shared, and guests dug deep, taking part in fundraising opportunities through the Spin to Win wheel, Wall of Fortune, pledge cards and the silent auction.
We are very excited to announce that around $28,000 was raised on the evening and will go towards the first stage of development at The Kaadadjan Centre. Plans are currently in for approval and we look forward to announcing more to the community when works are set to start. Thank you to all who donated – this is the first step to bringing our vision for The Kaadadjan Centre, as a place for all, to life.
Thank you again to our event sponsors Pentanet. See a message from director Tim and Stephen Cornish about their time at St Stephen’s School here. Keep an eye out for our annual Foundation events. We look forward to celebrating with you all again soon.
