It hasn’t been long since Callum Smith graduated from St Stephen’s School but he’s already thriving in the real world.

In his time at the Carramar Campus, Callum took the Certificate and General Pathway, graduating last year and now running his own business in film and photography – Csmith Photography – make sure you check it out!

Callum was always known as a keen photographer, his eye behind the lens of many school and social events.

Once he decided to turn his passion into a career he sourced work experience with a professional photographer in the last few years of school, which exposed him to the competitive nature of the industry.

Since then he has taken on lots of gigs including social, wedding, marketing and event photography – his chilled-out nature putting subjects at ease and helping with networking.

“I don’t just take the photos and leave, I aim to get to know my client leading towards a more comfortable and easy-going environment with a fantastic outcome,” Callum said.

“Through the contracts I currently have and the contracts/work I did not get I have learnt so much and gained so much experience.”

Since graduation, he has enjoyed some epic road trips with mates to the north and west of Perth.

He also spent a month in Cambodia alongside RAW Impact volunteering and capturing their inspiring work through his art form. See some of his work from Cambodia here.
