Do students have to be attendees at a Uniting Church?

No. Families from different religious, ethnic and social backgrounds, including those with no church affirmation are welcome. We do take into consideration Active Uniting Church and Active Christian Church families.

St Stephen’s School is fully integrated into the life of the Uniting Church in Australia and although it is not necessary to be a member of a church to attend the school, all students and parents must be willing to support our Christian ethos and all students must participate in all educational programs available at St Stephen’s School including any Biblical and Christian studies programs and compulsory camps.

Will I be informed if my child has been unsuccessful in obtaining an Offer of Place

The selection process is ongoing up to and including the commencement of the intake year. In some instances some families may only be notified of an Offer of Place just prior to their child commencing with us. Children who do not receive an Offer of Place will be informed and will remain on the list to be considered if a withdrawal occurs.
