La Reunion Visit
A
visit by students and teachers from the Indian Ocean island of La
Reunion was a great success. Nine students and three teachers
spent two weeks in Perth. They spent time in the classroom at
Duncraig campus with Year 7 students, as well as visiting city
and country sights, discovering wildlife and improving their
English.
The visit was the result of an internet request from La Reunion, for an exchange with a school in Perth. Our Primary LOTE teacher spent many months of organisation before the event took place. Host families from Duncraig provided wonderful home comforts and support, and the students from La Reunion had a memorable time.
